Get to know Schütt & Freitag GmbH
We have a new distributor in Germany. Schütt & Freitag GmbH, located in Bad Rappenau/Heilbronn, has been running a successful family-owned business for 30 years and is now one of our German partners. Their main market is in the southwest of Germany, covering the big towns of Stuttgart, Heidelberg, Mannheim, and Freiburg.
– We sell directly to installers and are also aiming towards architects and planning bureaus, states Patrick Schütt, the company’s CEO. Next year, we will focus on raising awareness of the ES Energy Save brand, which will boost success in our market for us. Right now, we are starting up the first installation for a bigger building with 25 flats. Everything went well, and the system is working just fine.

Germany is one of our four focus markets with a high potential for air/water heat pumps. At the end of 2023, two important decisions were made that allow our customers to sell our pumps on the German market: The first was that we were certified as SG Ready, which makes our heat pumps approved for use in smart grids. The SG Ready certification was the last point before the second decision: our heat pumps were put on the BAFA list, which shows that the customer is entitled to government support for installation.
