Heat Pump Series for
Commercial Applications
The ES heat pumps are powerful solutions designed to meed heating, cooling, and domestic hot water demands for commercial buildings such as apartment complexes, hotels, schools and warehouses. Their modular design allows for easy scalability, making them ideal for both small and large installations.
-
Technology that
Cuts CostsInvesting in heat pumps does not only drastically lower energy bills but also significantly reduces carbon emissions, especially when combined with green electricity.
-
Consistent Comfort
You Can Rely OnHeat pumps maintain a steady indoor temperature by adjusting output based on the building’s real-time heating needs. This results in high and stable comfort without the fluctuations typical of older systems.
-
Sustainable
TechnologyUnlike traditional systems that rely on fossil fuels, our heat pumps extract energy from outdoor air and convert it into usable energy for your property.

Discover the motivations, challenges, and future opportunities surrounding the installation of this innovative system at Schrader Gartneri – a commercial greenhouse setting the standard for sustainable energy solutions.
Common questions
What types of buildings are your systems suitable for?
Our commercial heat pump systems are ideal for a wide range of applications, including apartment buildings, office complexes, schools, warehouses, hotels, and logistics facilities. They are suitable for both new construction and retrofit projects. We also offer solutions for temporary setups, such as construction sites.
Can the systems provide both heating and cooling?
Yes. All our systems are reversible, meaning they can deliver heating in winter and cooling in summer. They can also provide domestic hot water, either independently or simultaneously depending on the system configuration.
How scalable are your systems?
Our modular units can be connected in cascade configurations of up to 16 units per NordFlex controller, allowing for a total heating or cooling capacity of up to 1.4 MW. Larger installations can use multiple controller banks for even more scalability.
What’s the difference between R290 and R410A systems?
R290 is a natural refrigerant with an ultra-low global warming potential (GWP), making it a more sustainable choice. R410A offers slightly higher capacity options and broad application flexibility. Both refrigerants are available across our product range, allowing you to select the best fit for your project.
Can I use your systems in buildings with limited electrical capacity?
Yes. Thanks to the smart load management functionality of our NordFlex controller, our systems can adapt output to balance energy demand, even in buildings with limited or fluctuating grid capacity.
How do I plan and dimension a system?
We provide digital tools like the ES Configurator and ES Calculator to help with system design, dimensioning, and efficiency calculations. These tools simplify planning and ensure the system is tailored to your building’s needs.
Can I monitor the system remotely?
Yes. With our ES Fleet Manager platform, you can monitor, control, and optimise your system in real-time via a web interface. This is especially useful for facility managers and operators managing multiple properties.
Do you offer temporary or mobile systems?
Yes. Our Plug-in Modules are designed for temporary needs, such as construction site heating or mobile climate control. These units are fully plug-and-play, offering fast and easy setup without the need for complex installation. Despite their temporary nature, they deliver the same reliable performance and energy efficiency as our permanent systems.
