The purpose of this policy is to inform you about how we process your personal information, what we use it for, who may have access to it and under what conditions, as well as how you can exercise your rights.

What is personal information?

Personal information refers to all data that can be directly or indirectly attributed to a living physical person. Energy Save is committed to protecting your personal information and therefore processes it only in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and other relevant legislation.

We never disclose more personal information than necessary. When required by law, we may need to disclose your information to authorities and other organizations. We may also need to disclose your information if necessary to exercise, establish, or defend our legal claims. We never disclose your personal information to other companies or entities for marketing purposes.

Transfer to third countries

In cases where personal information may be transferred to a country outside the EU/EEA, it is done in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and requires that the country in question has an adequate level of protection or that there are other sufficient safeguards that make the transfer lawful, such as the use of so-called standard contractual clauses. Occasionally, transfers to third countries may occur if necessary to fulfil an agreement or if Energy Save engages a different type of service provider, such as a data processor, outside the EU or EEA. You always have the right to withdraw your consent at any given time.

On what legal basis do we process personal information about you?

We only process the personal information we need in order to perform our services or deliver our products to you, i.e., when we enter into or fulfil agreements with you. To the extent that we process additional information, we will obtain your consent or ensure that the processing is permitted under another legal basis.

Energy Save may obtain information from, and provide information about you to, third parties such as credit reporting agencies, authorities, and trading platforms. You will receive information about which third parties the information may be provided to/obtained from in connection with the current processing.

How long do we process your personal information?

Energy Save does not retain personal information for longer than necessary regarding the purpose of the processing. The personal information is stored for as long as the contractual relationship lasts and thereafter for a maximum of ten years in consideration of prescription rules.
