Collaboration established in Chile

South America is becoming an increasingly interesting market for heat pumps, and we are now taking another step in expanding our international presence through a collaboration with JCE South America.

The partnership covers the distribution of our heat pumps in parts of the South American market, with Chile becoming the first country included in the collaboration.

The agreement means that JCE South America will act as the exclusive distributor of heat pumps under the ES Energy Save brand in Chile, introducing Scandinavian heat pump technology to a market where the transition towards more energy-efficient heating solutions is growing.

Local presence and long-term ambitions

JCE South America has been active in the region since 1987 and operates within several business areas, including Hardware & Distribution, Forest Products, and Real Estate Development. The company has an established presence in Chile, Brazil, Colombia and Peru.

“With our strong local presence and extensive experience in the region, we are uniquely positioned to help Nordic companies grow in these dynamic markets. The current project is clear proof of this,” says Ulf Gillberg, Head of JCE South America AB.

The collaboration is part of our long-term ambition to strengthen our international distribution network and make Scandinavian heat pump technology available in more markets outside Europe.

Growing demand for sustainable heating

“JCE is a strong and dynamic partner with a clear focus on implementing green technology from Sweden and Europe in South America. Heating in Chilean properties is currently largely based on imported gas, which creates strong potential for energy savings through heat pump technology,” says Calle Gabinus, Key Account Manager for ES Energy Save in the South American market.

Chile is currently moving towards more sustainable and energy-efficient heating solutions, creating new opportunities for heat pump technology in both residential and commercial applications.

“It is a good time to enter the heat pump market in Chile, as the market is moving towards sustainable and energy-efficient solutions. Our ambition is to become a leading player in this growing segment and to complement our offering with products from several European premium brands,” says Sebastian Olivos, CEO of JCE Chile.

Technology for long-distance support

The collaboration also highlights the importance of digital support and remote connectivity in geographically large markets. Combined with local presence and our digital platform for remote monitoring, updates and support, our solutions are well suited for markets with long distances and high service demands.

This collaboration marks another step in our continued international expansion and reflects the growing interest in Scandinavian heat pump technology beyond our traditional markets.
